The firm serves as Nevada counsel for many publicly traded corporations including Centex Corporation, Sierra Pacific Resources and Tenet Healthcare Corporation. Woodburn and Wedge is frequently called upon to render advice and give opinions on multi-million dollar corporate finance and securitization issues and is recognized as one of the principal Nevada law firms in the mergers and acquisitions arena. Shareholders of the firm are members of the Executive Committee, Business Law Section, State Bar of Nevada. Through that committee, shareholders of the firm are active in drafting and modernizing Nevada business organization law.
