Blain Andrus was an attorney for 37 years, practicing primarily in the areas of real property law and mining law.  He joined Woodburn and Wedge in 1995 as a shareholder and practiced with our firm for 16 years. Mr. Andrus was the author of various legal publications dating back to 1979-his most recent book was published in 2010 entitled:  The History of Lawyers.  Mr. Andrus studied German and International Relations at Brigham Young University.  He received his Juris Doctorate from Western School of Law.  Before joining Woodburn and Wedge he worked for Mobil Corporation.  Feeport-McMoRan Inc., and Independence Mining Company to name a few.  He is survived by his wife and three children.
