Candace Kelley, Firm Administrator

Mrs. Kelley joined the firm in 1999 and has served as the Firm Administrator since 2019.  She has extensive experience in litigation, probate, and business matters.  In her role at Woodburn and Wedge, Mrs. Kelley is responsible for day to day firm operations, human resources, client communication, and managing the firm’s administrative staff.  Prior to joining Woodburn and Wedge Mrs. Kelley attended school in CA before relocating to Nevada.  Mrs. Kelly completed her management training at TMCC in Reno, NV in 2019.  While away from work Mrs. Kelley enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and dogs.  She also enjoys volunteering as a little league coach, and participates in JDRF activities and fundraising.

 

Nikki Chandler, Corporate Paralegal

Ms. Chandler joined the firm in 2012 and is the Corporate Paralegal to Gregg P. Barnard and Shawn G. Pearson.  Prior to working with Woodburn and Wedge, Ms. Chandler worked as an investigator, performing background checks, asset searches, due diligence investigations for attorneys, and fraud investigations.  She obtained her paralegal certificate in 1996.

M. Denise Heathcote

Mrs. Heathcote joined the firm in 2018, bringing more than 20 years experience as a Legal Assistant with her.  Mrs. Heathcote works with Sharon M. Jannuzzi handling probate and estate planning matters, as well as business matters.

Michele LaHue

Mrs. LaHue joined the firm in 2021 as Paralegal to Shay L. Wells.  Mrs. LaHue also assists our estate planning and probate team utilizing her extensive experience in those areas of law.  Mrs. LaHue obtained her paralegal certificate from UNR in 2006.

Vanessa Martinez

Mrs. Martinez joined the firm in 2023 as Paralegal to Shawn B Meador and Bronagh M. Kelly.  Mrs. Martinez is bilingual in English and Spanish, and assists the Woodburn and Wedge family law group.  Prior to joining the firm, Mrs. Martinez worked in the area of immigration law in Arizona and Texas.

Kathy Miyoshi

Ms. Miyoshi joined Woodburn and Wedge in 2022 as Paralegal to Gordon H. DePaoli and Jose A. Tafoya, assisting with civil litigation and natural resources matters.  Ms. Miyoshi obtained her AA from TMCC in 2015 and then worked in the area of mining and minerals for 7 years prior to joining the firm’s water law team.  She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 1991.

 

Mele Puletau

Ms. Puletau joined Woodburn and Wedge in 2023 as Paralegal to Seth J. Adams and Patrick M. Kealy, as well as W. Chris Wicker, assisting with civil litigation and matters.  Ms. Puletau obtained her Paralegal Certificate and then worked in the area of civil litigation and insurance defense prior to joining the firm’s litigation team.

Angel Radley

Mrs. Radley joined the firm in 2015, and is the Legal Assistant to Jason C. Morris and Cassy J. Walsh, and previously worked with Don L. Ross until his retirement in 2023.  She has extensive experience with the preparation of estate planning documents and providing excellent customer service.  Prior to working with Woodburn and Wedge, she was an estate planning legal assistant for eight years at a local firm.

Scott Eddington

Mr. Eddington is an office assistant with Woodburn and Wedge.  He joined the firm in 1996 as a courier and has since become an irreplaceable member of our team.  Mr. Eddington is in charge of purchasing and supervises our team of runners.  Mr. Eddington graduated from the University of Nevada with a degree in Criminal Justice.
